One page a month. Judge the work before you hand over a list.

The Cellar Brief is the monthly signals report a paying property gets, run over a demonstration cellar rather than yours. Three findings, what each is worth, and what a wine director would actually do about it. One email a month, no sequence behind it, no product in it, and a one-click unsubscribe we never ask about.

What is in it

Three findings, ordered by consequence within a value basis
Never more than three, and never ordered by an alert colour. Whichever is worth the most that month — inactive inventory, a closing window, by-the-glass exposure.
The working, not the conclusion
The lots behind the figure, the reference used, the multiplier applied. You should be able to disagree with it on the specifics.
One action each, with a deadline
Taste one bottle from each lot and pour it or write it off. Reprice these four. Get this onto the glass list before October.
A clean month, said in a line
If nothing is worth raising, the brief says so and stops. A brief that finds three things every month is a brief nobody reads by March.
Nothing to click
It is not a newsletter and there is no product in it. If you want the tool you know where it is.
